Jaz Wiseman, an author and historian, is our guest today on WHAT’S THE SCORE. Jaz primarily writes about British TV shows from the 1960s, such as THE SAINT, THE PERSUADERS, and DANGER MAN. These were all created by ITC, a firm owned by Sir Lew Grade. On the program, Jaz shares some behind-the-scenes stories about those shows, his collaboration with Roger Moore on DVD commentaries, and some excellent music from British film and television. This interview is a real gem, I too like Jaz, grew up with only 3 tv channels and I watched The Persuaders, Randall,& Hopkirk and The Thunderbirds. So, as a Brit I get it, Some great tv music by the likes of Edwin Astley and Ron Grainer was created and I still listen too them and it was really The Persuaders theme that Introduced me to John Barry, I’ve been a fan ever since. Jaz is a real superfan, writer and producer and it was a joy to listen to him talking to Frank about his journey and memories.
