THE ARCHIVE WITH JASON DRURY: A TRIBUTE TO MIKE ROSS-TREVOR

On Tuesday, January 2, 2024, the film music community lost one of its greatest recording engineers, Mike Ross-Trevor. His collaborations with composers such as Jerry Goldsmith and Bruce Broughton have become legendary in the film music world.

Jason Drury had the pleasure of speaking with Mike in February 2018 for the CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO PODCAST. The two show shows can be heard HERE and HERE!

It was with great sadness that Jason learned of Mike’s passing since he had many happy recollections of their interview and Mike has remained a close friend.

So, Jason decided to produce a new program by utilizing remastered interview clips from 2018 and by playing some of the fantastic music that Mike was associated with. To give the program a distinct and intimate feel, Mike Ross-Trevor will be the only voice heard throughout, narrating his own recording career and sharing a few memories of the amazing sessions he worked on.

Enjoy!
