THE FLAGSHIP SHOW: INTERVIEW WITH JASON DRURY PART 2

Last time on THE FLAGSHIP SHOW, I presented part one of my two-part interview with film music journalist, Cinematic Sound Radio host and friend, Jason Drury. If you haven’t listened to that episode, I highly recommend you do so before listening to this episode. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO THE SHOW.

In part two, Jason and I talk about feedback from the public, Jason’s James Horner audio documentary, how he came to be a member of Cinematic Sound Radio, his future aspirations, and his relationship with the late recording engineer, Mike Ross-Trevor.

I thank Jason for taking the time to talk with me and to open up candidly, not only about his passions but also about sharing some of the deeper personal stories.

Here now is part one of my chat with Jason, a discussion which took place on a warm fall evening in my dimly lit studio on September 25, 2025

Jason and Erik are in the Cinematic Sound Radio studio. Sept 2025

Will Jason ever read out any feedback on “The Archive”? Great interview on both ends. Made me want to listen to the Horner documentary again.
