ERIK WOODS INTERVIEWED BY QUITE THE THING MEDIA / QTTM 2021 PODCAST AWARD NOMINATION

Last week I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Jack Shaw, CEO and Co-Founder of QUITE THE THING MEDIA; a British podcast network that focuses on and celebrates the independent podcast creator.

In the afternoon of June 2nd, Jack and I have a one-hour Zoom meeting to talk about everything CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO and podcasting. Jack was very welcoming and even though this was the first time I ever corresponded with him, I felt like I had already chatted with Jack numerous times in the past. He came prepared, kept the atmosphere upbeat and ask solid questions that lead the conversation down paths I didn’t expect to cover. Jack and I could have easily talked for hours and I hope we can reconnect sometime again soon.

During the interview you will hear about CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO’s origins, its evolution, the expansion of CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO from one show to a network of shows, advice to new podcasters, my foray into “shock-jock” podcasting with the defunct beer.com podcast that I hosted and produced in 2005, some other soundtrack podcasts that I enjoy & more.

EDIT (Feb 1, 22) – The podcast is now defunct but you can listen to a copy of the interview below.

QUITE THE THING MEDIA is doing some exciting things in the world of podcasting including hosting its own podcast awards. CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO received a nomination for the 2021 Awards in the MUSIC CATEGORY and it’s now up to you to vote for the show. The only way we can win is if the CSR community rallies together and votes for the podcast!  It only takes a few seconds of your time.  Click HERE and then select CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO in the MUSIC CATEGORY.  After that, tell all your friends to vote as well. We need as much help as we can get! Let’s win this thing!

Voting closes on July 19th.

Thanks in advance!
