What is the name of song in the beginning of your podcast? That’s the best thing I heard in a while.

If you are talking about the cue underneath my intro, it is “Kingsman Hoedown” from Kingsman: the Golden Circle. I’ll be playing the complete cue on Part II.

  3. Scott Bordelon

Would love to see the playlist, especially for the Tokyo Ghoul, loved that one. Thanks Erik for the program, my most anticipated episode every year. Gets me buying something new I wasn’t even aware of before 🙂

When Part II goes live I’ll post the playlist. However, I will tell you that I played Tokyo Ghoul Main Title, The Kaneki Metamorphosis, Anger Unlimited AND To Infinity And Beyond from TOKYO GHOUL. Thanks for listening!

Just started listening to this episode and I want to thank you, Erik, for introducing Panu Aaltio to me! I’ve never listened before and was so impressed with his “95” music that I acquired some of his other scores. Is the soundtrack to 95 available on CD to purchase?

    1. Erik Woods

Aaltio is an incredible talent and I’m honoured to be the one that introduced you to his fantastic work. This tells me that I’m doing my job correctly! 😉 Unfortunately, 95 is not available commercially, however, I have a feeling that it will be in the near future. Look for a label like MovieScore Media to put it out. Anyway, look around the site for other shows that feature Aaltio’s work. His magnum opus still remains TALE OF A LAKE which was my favourite score of the year last year!

Thanks for your note and happy listening!

  5. Mark M

I obtained TALE OF A FOREST, DAWN OF THE DRAGONSLAYER, and the incredibly beautiful TALE OF A LAKE, which every film music lover should own. Thanks again and keep up the fantastic work.

Take a short break, learn and feel to miss it, then comeback with with guns blazing. Maybe a new format within the show. Each week listeners can e-mail in their requests, do a few a show. With all the re-dos, do the the original then the remake, point out differences and similarities.
