Just wanted to say that the “Fullmetal Alchemist” music that was showed in the episode is actually composed by Michiru Oshima for the 2003 TV show and recorded at Moscow.

Akira Senju on the other hand composed the music for a 2009 reboot of the franchise called “Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood”. Also a score worth exploring in its own right, with more than two hours of recording with the Warsaw Philharmonic.

    Dear Animemusicfan,
Thank you so much for the feedback on my most current episode about Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. It’s so nice to get some great insight on anime tv scores. Thanks so much for providing the information about Michiru Oshima being the composer for the 2003 “Fullmetal Alchemist”. Wow, I didn’t realize it was recorded in Moscow, now I’ll have to go back and look for that score. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is the program that was provided with Akira Senju as composer. I was so excited to talk about the music to this series with it’s full and lush with plenty of great sweeping melodies and gorgeous full orchestral writing. Akira Senju was absolutely amazing in composing this great work! Again thanks so much for your comments and hope to hear from you again in the future.
